The Vega family of Media Analyzers provides an efficient debugging point in broadcast, media enabling, system integration, and technology development. Supporting a broad range of media standards, the Vega Analyzers let you to debug audio/video/system streams at multiple structural levels. Robust and feature rich, the Vega Analyzers ensure media quality, optimized encoding, and interoperability.
The Vega Analyzers analyze an encoded stream and display all the violations against the media standard. The encoded values are displayed in an intuitive user interface along with valuable information, such as decoded buffer occupancy, picture prediction, picture reference, frame size, and more.
Vega utilities, the Vega Buffer Analyzer and YUV Diff enhance the debugging of media products. The add-on utilities, Vega Video Comparator, enables quick debugging of encoders and transcoders; while the Bitstream Editor allows you create test streams to test the accuracy, robustness, and performance of media products.
The Vega Analyzers are backed by Interra's production proven expertise in developing T&M products and solutions. Vega's AC-3, DD Plus, and Dolby-E audio analysis is certified by Dolby Digital.
The Vega family includes: Vega H264, Vega VC1, Vega MPEG2, Vega Audio, Vega Comparator, Bitstream Editor.
Vega TSA provides a debug platform for development of efficient MPEG systems. Vega TSA is uniquely focused for analysis of MEPG-2 Transport streams and is based on the comprehensive debug platform of Vega family of Analyzers.
Vega TSA analyzes encoded MPEG-2 Transport streams based on ATSC, DVB, ISDB-S, ISDB-T, TR101 290, CableLabs VoD, and MPEG standards. The analyzer provides a microscopic view into the stream: from structural hierarchy down to encoded bits. Vega TSA precisely pinpoints standards violation in the stream and provides graphical representation of details, such as stream occupancy, bandwidth utilization, timing inaccuracy, and more.
Vega AVSync provides a debug platform for development of applications and technologies that need to combine audio and video in MPEG Systems. Vega AVsync is uniquely focused for analysis of audio-video sync issues and is based on the comprehensive debug platform of Vega family of Analyzers.
Vega AVSync enables synchronization measurements and identification all out-of- sync points in the content. For each sync point, media professionals can examine information, such as packet number, frame number, PTS value, and more. Vega AVSync’s judicious use of graphics to present results makes debugging intuitive and precise.
